About This Project

Set adjacent to heritage listed church grounds the design of this building hinges around an internal courtyard that allows the established garden to continue through the site. Commercial spaces open directly into this northern aspect space as do the apartments above providing a tranquil outlook away from busy Victoria Road.
A public through site link helps integrate the building with a council owned key site to the west and material selections help develop a contemporary dialogue with the heritage building on the church grounds.
